1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information LLC Comparison (“we”, “us”) collects through llccomparison.com, why we collect it and what we do with it. It applies to this website only, not to the providers we review.
By using the site you accept this policy. If you do not accept it, please do not use the site.
2. Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
- Information you give us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit, our servers and tools record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you and the time you spent on the page.
We do not ask for payment details, because we do not sell anything. Any purchase you make is made on a provider’s own website.
3. How we use it
We use the information to:
- reply to messages you send us and act on error reports;
- understand which pages are read and improve them;
- keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse;
- measure which links lead to a purchase, so we can be paid when a reader buys through us; and
- meet our legal obligations.
4. Affiliate links and tracking
Some links on this site, such as the “Visit” buttons, send you through a link on llccomparison.com to a provider’s website. When you click one, we and the provider’s affiliate network may set a cookie or use a similar tool so a purchase can be credited to us.
Once you reach a provider’s website, that provider’s own privacy policy applies to what you do there. We do not control it and are not responsible for it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep messages sent through the contact form for as long as needed to deal with your request and keep a record of it. Analytics and server data are kept for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes above, and then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to receive a copy of it. If you are in California, you may also ask us what categories of personal information we collect and disclose, and you will not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, use the contact form and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on it.
9. Children
This site is intended for adults forming a business. It is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Links to other sites
The site links to websites we do not operate, including the providers we review and state filing offices. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies. If we make a material change, we will make it clear on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
13. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the contact form.
